Botim

Botim is a VoIP messaging platform widely used across the Middle East and Asia, especially in markets where internet calling replaces traditional telecom. Over time, its role expanded far beyond talk: payments, international transfers, bill pay, wallets, and more started living alongside chat and calls in one unified app experience. As a result, the brand needed to shift, not just visually, but conceptually: from a communication tool to a fintech-first, multifunctional super app built for digital life.
This macro shift informed the core brief for the logo redesign: the brand needed an identity that felt strategically aligned with fintech services and digital utility, while retaining roots in friendly connectivity.

The original mark functioned as a friendly, face-like badge, minimal and approachable, designed for a time when Botim was mainly about calling and chatting. The new icon shifts toward cleaner, system-driven geometry, using simplified forms to imply interaction and continuity, creating space for Botim to evolve from a messaging app into a full digital platform.

The updated colour palette moves away from soft telecom tones toward deeper, more confident hues paired with clean neutrals. It’s designed to feel credible in fintech spaces while staying flexible across product UI, marketing, and digital environments, giving the brand a system it can actually scale with.
