Hampi Art Labs

Hampi Art Labs is an expansive 18-acre art centre that emerged as an initiative of the JSW Foundation, the social development arm of the JSW Group, one of India’s leading business houses. Positioned adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi, this centre offers artists world-class facilities for contemporary art-making while aspiring to harbour and foster creative thinking, collaboration, and experimentation through a variety of programmes and a spectrum of spaces such as studios, apartments for residents, gardens, and a café.
The nearby Tungabhadra River inspires the design of the physical structure of Hampi Art Labs. Seamlessly integrated with the natural landscape, the design pays tribute to its surroundings using organic forms and locally sourced materials, fostering a connection between artists and the region’s rich craft traditions.
