Knots that Bind centred around The Red Dress Project by British artist Kirstie Macleod, a globally recognised collaborative artwork embroidered by 380 individuals across 51 countries over fourteen years. Created as a platform for solidarity, the project carries the stories and labour of women, refugees, asylum seekers, and marginalised communities, transforming embroidery into an act of resilience and collective memory.
In dialogue with works from the Sangita Jindal Collection, the exhibition explored ideas of interconnectedness, materiality, care, and coexistence, reflecting on the invisible threads that bind communities across generations and geographies.
